We just returned from a whirlwind trip to California, and it was amazing. It’s been a year since we moved to Colorado, but the Golden State still feels like home in so many ways. It was great to see B’s parents and hang out with good friends, to visit old haunts and revel in weather that still feels like summer. It was our first vacation as a new little family, and it was an unqualified success. Juliet was showered with attention, which is her most favorite thing ever, and B and I got to gorge ourselves on all the non-paleo food we aren’t usually allowed to eat. Good times were had by all. And now, five pounds heavier and back in the land of sweaters and drizzle, it’s time to get back to the business of real life. Goodbye, Cali! Please don’t go bankrupt or fall into the ocean before I see you again!
Yes, I sat by and took pictures. Because I am mother of the year.
She crawls sort of like Smeagol. I think she has my coordination, poor thing.
